Apart from pastels, print is probably my favourite trend this season. Doing the top to toe thing - or even the double print - can be tricky. I think the key is to have a colour match within both prints (I'm sure, this is how my mum dresses, so not a new concept).
I love this Jil Sander paisley skirt paired with the Nina Ricci top and think it's an outfit that can be taken from office to bar so easily by just swapping shoes and handbag!

I love the idea of using one colour in different shades and tones from head to toe. I think that usually it needs just a fleck of another hue in there to bring out how beautiful the whole combination atually is.
I totally fell in love with this Peter Pilotto top and the rest kind of fell into place...

Sometimes you feel like you need that extra bit of armour...
Probably a *bit* overdressed for the boardroom but surely an outfit that would make you feel very empowered.
The lovely people from Motilo commented on my post btw and informed me that they are "working on new features for the site which will be finalised this year"; I assume this was in reference to my comment re. not being able to add items to their lists.
Fellow-blogger Laura has pointed me in the direction of Motilo, which allows you to create looks in a form of a collage.
I have been using Polyvore until now and thought, I'd give Motilo a go. Nice toy but I am either too daft to find it or there really is no possibility to tag/add your own items (which is what you can do on Polyvore).
Anyway, the look above is a pretty, romantic yet modern outfit for a date, wedding, stroll around the park. All we need is sunshine now...
